Susan has actively contributed to the redesign and update of websites, working closely with external web designers and developers to improve the design and usability of both new and existing websites.
Using a variety web content management systems, such as Sitefinity, WebIt, Interwoven TeamSite, SharePoint, NetCat, Lotus web authoring, and Joomla to write, edit and publish promotional and informational content in accordance with website accessibility, web style guides and branding.
Susan’s career has been varied from working in Europe for the Welsh Rugby Union in Cardiff, Wales to the World Health Organization, Geneva, Switzerland; in New York at the United Nations HIV and Development Programme; and in Australia for the New South Wales and Queensland state governments, schools, private sector, and a not-for-profit organization.
Susan has experience project managing the production of high quality publications from concept to final print. Using the Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional) to produce publications, technical documents, meeting reports, forms, posters, presentation materials, proposals.
Always ensuring that publications, presentations and web content meet accessibility standards.
Susan loves to travel and has visited many countries on five continents. She enjoys walking, swimming, music, reading and watching sport including football, rugby and tennis.
She shares two pugs with her sister! One is a black and tan male called Raffi and the other is a female panda pug called Miko.
Susan was born in Cardiff, Wales and she also has Australian nationality.
